I have always loved Turquoise not only for its captivating blue-green hue but also for its astonishing metaphysical properties. This gem keeps gaining immense popularity, increasing its price on a regular basis. It is used in high end jewellery and therefore seen as a particularly interesting investment.
However, not every Turquoise is valuable. Very often, in order to offer some very attractive prices, a stone is created from remaining fragments, crushed into powder and mixed with epoxy. There might not be much difference to an untrained eye but from the lithotherapy point of view, the stone is as good as a piece of plastic, having lost its beautiful living energy field and properties.
